This no frills gps unit is well worth the price. You do have to advance it to the next hole, but I've been in carts equipped with gps where you do the same. It's not an inconvenience. Who needs color graphics and bells and whistles that aren't used? This gives you the basic info that's needed quickly and accurately based on readings from other players using lasers. One of the courses I play has changed routing several times over the years. As a result the download does not match the current routing.
